I sell nutritional products online (not Ebay). If anyone puts in a comma vs a period in the price my order form will tag it as an error and to put in the correct amount. NOT EBAY!
I bidded on a handbag for $30.51. However, I didn't put that in exactly. I put $30,51 OK it was an error on my part. I didn't catch it. However, EBay put in $3,051.00 in the bid. YIPES! I tried to change the bid with the Ebay form to correct it and they refused when I had alot of time to change it. Emailed the seller 4 times and he never emailed me back. Now I owe $222 on the bag which I have a wholesale account for this kind of bag for alot less. Any suggestions? I will probably just end up buying it but I will never buy from Ebay again. Guess it's time for glasses. ![]() |

You can cancel a bid for just this kind of thing. There is a link someplace on ebay that explains how to.
start here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/quest...tract-bid.html |

i did the same on a car but worse! bid was supposed to be 3500, ended up 3500,000!
Ebay actually let it go thru! Lucky for me I HAPPENED yto catch it before the auction ended and was able to get the seller to release the bid. If I were you, I would contact the seller and ask for a release. Don't bother with PayPal OR Ebay, you will get nowhere fast! |
